Character Application

To submit a Character Application, please copy the application below, fill in your character details and post it as a new thread on the Pending Applications board.

This will give us, and you a better understanding of your character. Don't be afraid to go into too much detail, it's the little things that make up the 'quirks' of a Character. The personality, the likes and dislikes.

The Author

Your Name: Name or 'Pen Name'
Contact: Email, YIM, MSN or other
Age Declaration We need a statement of your age. Your Birthdate including the year, or a statement by you saying you're over 18.

The Character

Name: Character's full name. First, last, middle, pet names, nicknames, despised names.

Age: This should be relative to the role they're playing. For instance, if your Character is a police chief its doubtful, even if they were really REALLY smart, that they'd be only 20 years old.

Physical Description: This is a place for details! Height Weight, hair colour, eye colour, freckles, tattoos, hairstyle, ethnicity.

Favourite Colour: Perhaps they're cuckoo for charcoal, ravished by red? Is there a signature colour they always seem to wear? Or maybe one that just seems to always calm them.

Personality: This is the makeup of YOUR character. Cannon, or Original, its what makes them yours. With Cannon, we ask that you stick to the basic idea of your chosen Character. But that doesn't mean they're one dimensional. There are lots of little ticks, and quirks with the various characters. Play up on them, use the who what where and when, to get all the facets of personality out. Two paragraphs at least.

Favourite Place: Top of the Space needle? Niagara Falls? Their Bed? Whats the one place in the world that makes your Character happy?

Backstory: Why. Why are they in Seattle? Perhaps they've lived here all their lives. Or, if Cannon, theres a reason they've made the move to Seattle. What made them who they are today? Why do they do what they do? Two Paragraphs at least.

Off Duty: Whether a waitress, C.S.I, Sanitation worker, or Bellhop, everyone has 'downtime' What do they like to do? Classical music, Sports? Scrabble online Championships? What are your character's hobbies and pastimes?

Favourite Book: Is your Character an avid reader? Devouring every book in sight? Or perhaps the last book they read was Horton Hears a Who? Childhood or the latest Stephen King.. everyone has some favourite book.

Bad habits: Everyones got them. Chronic nail biter? Chain smoker? Music house subscription junkie? Old habits die hard, bad ones last forever.

Is there anything else? Special talents, abilities, crutches that makes up your character? Tell us about them.
